SCIF addition to NGIC at Rivanna Station

TRG worked with the Virginia congressional delegation and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) to secure a $65 million SCIF addition for NGIC at Rivanna Station in the Fiscal Year 2020 budget process. The project will consolidate personnel currently occupying off-base leased facilities, thereby increasing force protection and resulting in a return on investment of approximately eight or nine years.

Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI) Funding for Hampton Roads

UASI is a Department of Homeland Security grant program that assists high-threat, high-density urban areas in efforts to prevent, protect against, mitigate, respond to and recover from acts of terrorism. Hampton Roads received over $35M in grants from FY07-FY11 but only received $1 million from FY12-FY16. TRG worked to restore funding commensurate with the region’s overall risk rating resulting in funding of $1 million in FY17, $1.5 million in FY18 and $3.2 million in FY19.
