Dr. John Huth is a highly successful defense intelligence senior executive, bringing over 40 years of leadership in both government and industry. He excels in intelligence operations, capability development, and technical collection across diverse domains. Well-known for setting strategic direction and driving impactful results, John has demonstrated expertise in fiscal management, personnel oversight, and cross-organizational execution. His collaborative approach and exceptional communication skills have led to successful resource negotiations at the Department and IC levels.

From 2022 to 2025, John served as Chief of DIA’s Office of Space and Counterspace, overseeing the collection and analysis of foreign space and counterspace capabilities, vulnerabilities, and intentions. Previously, he advised the Director and Deputy Director of DIA as the Defense Intelligence Officer on all intelligence matters related to space and counterspace.

John completed 28 years of active and reserve service as a Military Intelligence Officer in the US Army, with deep expertise in technical intelligence collection and all-source analysis. He also spent 15 years in industry as a program and line manager supporting defense and intelligence community missions.
