Chip Rock

Rear Admiral (ret.) Chip Rock joined The Roosevelt Group as a consultant in 2022. Chip retired from the Navy in 2022, after 35 years of service.  He spent the majority of his career serving in ships before transitioning to installation and facilities management in 2011.  His is last assignment was as Commander of Navy Region Mid-Atlantic, the Navy’s largest region.  His specialties include budget development, public-private partnerships, community and public relations, climate resiliency, environmental conservation, energy, defense policy, encroachment management, and military construction.

Chip is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Ocean Engineering and the National War College with a master’s degree in National Security Affairs.
