Alycia Farrell

Alycia joins The Roosevelt Group as an active cybersecurity analyst and brings over 14 years of federal government expertise in budget analysis and national security. As a former Professional Staff Member on the Senate Appropriations Committee, she oversaw a portfolio that included missile defense, weapons procurement, and Guard and Reserve equipping. After transitioning to cybersecurity in 2015, she began training and developing technical skills in penetration testing and threat hunting while working with a small cyber start-up as a vSOC analyst. As a Senior Advisor, Alycia offers strategic guidance on cybersecurity operations, AI/Machine Learning, emerging technologies, and defense appropriations processes. Her Capitol Hill and federal agency engagement, combined with operational cybersecurity experience and work with nonprofits, have shaped national security policy and workforce development efforts in AI, space, and cybersecurity. Committed to continuous growth, she holds multiple cybersecurity certifications and is pursuing further credentials in penetration testing, OSINT, and CMMC compliance.
