Dana Linnet

Ms. Dana Linnet joined TRG in June 2022. She is a global business leader in defense and aerospace, NetZero energy, Cyber, and Emerging Technologies. She is also a private equity Board Member and Investor Committee Member.

Dana combines government experience with real-world business experience as an Aerospace and Defense Executive, a Silicon Valley Global Public Sector tech leader, Big 4 Consulting sales executive, investor, and independent business owner to help our clients drive strategies tailored to their needs.

Dana was a senior career diplomat at the US Department of State, working in Washington, Europe, the Middle East, and the IndoPacific, and often represented the Department at senior Interagency meetings at the White House on key issues. For over 25 years in government and business, Dana has worked closely with the Pentagon, Intelligence agencies, DHS, FBI, and Congress.

Dana’s functional expertise includes defense technologies and acquisition; sales and business development; Foreign Military Sales; cyber; and Integrated Air and Missile Defense. In government, Dana and her team oversaw $1BN in Foreign and Military assistance and approved billions in defense exports. In the private sector, she worked with her teams to close billions in defense sales in ships, rotary wing, fighter aircraft, mission systems, air lift, missile systems, cyber solutions, energy, space systems, and land systems.

She holds a MA degree in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen Denmark and a BA from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and is an active member of dozens professional organizations and networks.
