WASHINGTON – The Roosevelt Group, a government affairs, business development and strategic advocacy firm with an emphasis on defense and homeland security, announced today that Colonel Kevin M. Felix (USA-RET) has joined the firm as a full-time senior advisor.
Colonel Felix will work closely with existing and future Roosevelt Group clients to enhance their understanding of defense requirements and provide counsel on a variety of issues including future warfare, Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC), strategic planning, and foreign military sales.

Leveraging his experience as a 30-year Army officer, Colonel Felix brings a unique set of skills to The Roosevelt Group and its clients. Kevin is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy, holds a Master’s of Arts Degree in International Relations from the University of Geneva in Switzerland and was a Harvard JFK School of Government National Security Fellow. He is also a trained Foreign Area Officer with European Command regional expertise and multi-language proficiency.
Prior to joining The Roosevelt Group, Colonel Felix held a number of Senior Command and Staff Positions including Chief – Future Warfare Division, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command; Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations at U.S. Army Central Command; Brigade Commander- Battlefield Coordination Detachment at Al Udeid Air Base in Doha, Qatar; Executive Officer in the Office of the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff; Joint Staff J5 Middle East Desk Officer and served as Senior Military Analyst on the 2005 BRAC Commission.
Kevin Felix is a recognized expert in Strategic Trends, Alternative Futures development and analysis, and Army Innovation in science and technology and concept and capability development with significant experience in influencing strategic decision making with U.S. and international leaders. Colonel Felix has been honored with numerous commendations and awards for outstanding leadership, management, and proven performance.
