Mr. Aimone joined The Roosevelt Group in the summer of 2016 and has nearly 46 years of experience serving in various leadership positions in the Department of Defense, the United States Air Force, and private industry. While on active duty, he served in numerous field and staff engineering assignments and in the Air Force Reserve. He oversaw a direct budget of $50M annually and indirectly influenced over $14B in annual defense expenditures. Mr. Aimone specializes in Real property asset management, energy management, energy security resilience, cybersecurity of industrial control systems, and aerospace supply chain management.

Mike coordinated the Department’s response to the use of energy required for training, moving, and sustaining military forces and weapons platforms for military operations. He was also the Vice President for Strategy and Development at the Battelle Memorial Institute. He received the Meritorious Executive Presidential Rank award and the Secretary of the Air Force Superior Meritorious Service Award. His team was recognized with the Presidential Award for Leadership in Federal Energy Management in 2007. Mr. Aimone received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the Michigan Technological University, along with his Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida. He also attended the Industrial College of Armed Forces at Fort McNair.
